| Hi All - I've been laying low as of late really working hard to try and get my biz affairs back in check to eliminate the customer dissatisfaction that has been seen for some time now with delivery times. It has taken a ridiculous amount of time to achieve, but I set a goal to produce permanent molds for the MASSIVE SMICs to both better the product and improve the manufacturing processes. I now have the whole process down to a finely developed recipe and the results, well, they should speak for themselves. There were a few key improvements made to the new endtanks: - Permanent mold casting produces a much finer finish on the metal surface - The inner endtanks are cast with smooth radiused transitions at the inlet pipe-tank interface. This was achieved with the old sand cast endtanks by way of a lot of die-grinding after the pipe was attached but the new tanks have a much larger radius which will improve airflow. The tanks are also cast with the inlet hole already in them which matches the i.d. of the inlet pipe. - The outer endtanks are now cast as two seperate pieces - there is a 45-degree transition "pipe" that is internally tapered out to the endtank and with a larger corner radius as well to improve airflow. This piece also maintains the same i.d. of the attaching pipe so as not to restrict airflow. - The mounting flanges are now being machined as seperate components and are welded internally to the endtanks. These flanges provide a better interface to the OE rubber insulating mounts and have a more finished appearance. So here they are: 
These new intercoolers will be available through my company but will also be available through SpecialtyZ, Z1, and ZTune for Canadian folks. In addition, I am tooling up right now to begin mandrel bending 2.5" aluminum intake pipe sets to match with these intercoolers. I dont want to revert back to my old way of jumping up and down about a product I'm releasing before it has even been built and/or start making comments on when it will be available, so I'll just say that I am putting all of my effort into this and leave it at that. I have also hired another helper to assist me with production of these products so we can stay on top of things - having the help of three other Z vendors also makes things a lot easier for us and allows you guys the option of where to obtain these items as well.
